Shipping & Returns

Postal Services
Orders are normally sent via Royal Mail 1st Class, however, we reserve the right to use alternative postal services, including but not limited to Royal Mail 2nd Class and Parcelforce.

All orders are sent as “Signature on delivery” and therefore require a signature (the recipient does not need to be the addressee) as proof of delivery unless you have redeemed an applicable Discount Coupon. See the Discount Coupons page for more information.

If in the circumstances where a recipient is not available and the postal service deems it necessary to return the goods, we will notify you before resending the order. You will be responsible for any additional shipping charges.

If you have opted out of “Signature on delivery”, we will not be responsible for, or replace deliveries that go missing in the post or do not arrive.

Delivery times
Orders are usually despatched within 2 business days of receipt of payment. Should payment be made by cheque, the order will be despatched within 2 business days of the funds being cleared. If for any reason we are unable to despatch the goods within 2 business days, we will notify you by email.

Delivery times vary depending on your location, size of order and shipping method. Our standard shipping method is Royal Mail 1st Class.

Royal Mail has issued the following guidelines but is not able to guarantee delivery times.
UK – Royal Mail 1st Class
Royal Mail aim to deliver 93% of 1st Class items the next working day after posting.
UK – Royal Mail 2nd Class
Royal Mail aim to deliver 98.5% of 2nd Class items by the third working day after posting.
Rest of the world – Airmail
Delivery times will vary and are dependent on the postal service in the destination country. The following are guidelines only:
Western Europe – 3 days following posting
Eastern Europe – 4 days following posting
Outside Europe – 5 days following posting

Shipping costs
Shipping costs will be applied to your order. The shipping cost will be dependent on the weight of the products purchased and the shipping address. We reserve the right to alter the Shipping Costs without notice. Accurate shipping costs can be calculated using the Shipping Estimator in the shopping cart. Any shipping costs will be clearly displayed before you are required to commit to an order.
The following prices are a guide to our shipping costs and are inclusive of the cost of “Signature on delivery”:

You may also be responsible for additional fees. Please read Customs & Excise below.

Customs & Excise
We are required to complete Custom Declarations on all orders shipped to non-EU countries, including European countries that are not EU-members. Custom Declarations will aid in a smooth transition through that country’s importation procedures.

You may be liable for additional importation charges and taxes at the 'port of entry' in accordance with the applicable local customs and excise laws. You may also be liable for tax on any shipping charges. It is your responsibility to pay for these.

FREE shipping
From time to time we may offer FREE shipping for orders that are being shipped to the United Kingdom or other jurisdictions and which are over a certain value or weight. Details will be clearly displayed on the site, and if available you will be given the option to select the FREE shipping delivery option from your shopping cart. Please take care in selecting this option to avoid being charged the normal delivery fee.

If in the event you return part of an order that benefited from FREE shipping, we reserve the right to reinstate the normal shipping charges on the remainder of the order that is not returned.

Damaged goods
If when you receive your order the packaging is either damaged or you believe it has been tampered with, DO NOT sign for the delivery without the postman or delivery company making a record of the damage. If you accept a damaged parcel we cannot replace any of the contents free of charge. Please notify us of faulty or damaged goods within 24 hours of delivery.

Returns
Under the 'Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000' you have the right to cancel your order within 7 days after the day you received the goods and we are required to provide you with a full refund for the goods within 30 days of the cancellation. All returns should be shipped via Special Delivery, Recorded or International registered mail. It is your statutory duty to take "reasonable care" of the goods and we ask you to return them with the original packaging.

Once we have received the goods we will either refund the amounts paid for the returned items or provide you with a credit, either in the form of a Discount Coupon or Gift Voucher. Unfortunately we are not able to refund the cost of the postage charged with the original order nor will we be responsible for the return postage.

Please contact us BEFORE returning the goods such that we can provide you with the correct delivery address and contact person.

Jurisdictions
Unfortunately we are unable to deliver to every destination or country in the world. If the following message “Zone Rates (No shipping available to the selected country)” is displayed in the shipping estimator in the shopping cart or during the checkout process, DO NOT confirm the order as we will not be able to despatch the goods. Alternate address
We may offer the option of shipping to an address other than the billing address. In most cases we will be able to oblige, but please note we cannot always accommodate this request.

Insurance
